A new feature on our Fusion App converts your iPhone or iPad's microphone volume to MIDI which can then be used as a control source. This feature allows you to add audio reactive capabilities to any MIDI compatible device! For example, in the video below, our Ableton Certified Trainer Sam Ryan shows you how he uses the volume from the iPhone's microphone to trigger a filter parameter on his external synth (the Elektron Analog Four).
In Sam's example, he connected his iphone via Bluetooth to his MacBook and then uses Ableton to route the MIDI to the Elektron. (Note: you can also connect directly using a MIDI converter or WIDI Master device from the iPhone to the synth)
